Ingredients and Process    1 cup ground coffee 1 cup water, sifted and ground 1 teaspoon sugar 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 1/2 teaspoon salt 2 cups sugar, sieved and ground 1 tablespoon ground coffee 1/2 cup water 1 teaspoon vanilla 1-2 tablespoons ground coffee extract  4 cups powdered sugar 2 tablespoons cinnamon 1 tablespoons ground cinnamon 2 teaspoons ground ginger 1½ tablespoons ground ginger extract 1 Tablespoon ground cinnamon extract 3 tablespoons ground cloves 1.4 cups ground coffee grounds 1 packet ground coffee beans  For the batter:  3 cups powdered chocolate chips (or 1/4 cup chocolate chips for 1 cup of chocolate chips) 3 Tablespoons powdered sugar (or 2 teaspoons of sugar for 1 teaspoon of sugar) 1 egg, beaten 1 tsp vanilla extract 2 tsp ground cinnamon (or ground ginger) 2 cups powdered cocoa powder 1 large banana 2 Tablespoons ground coffee (or coffee beans) For grating the ingredients: 3 eggs, beaten (or egg whites for egg whites) ½ cup ground cinnamon  ½ cup powdered cocoa  ½ teaspoon ground ginger  1 teaspoon ground nutmeg 1 1/3 cups unsalted butter (or melted butter) Method: 1.)

Make the coffee and water: Put ground coffee in a medium bowl and sift and ground it until it forms a coarse powder.


Put ground coffee, sugar, vanilla, salt, sugar and vanilla extract in a food processor.


Add ground coffee to the bowl.

Pulse for a minute or so until the coffee is ground into a fine powder. 


Pour coffee powder into a mug and stir in the cocoa powder.

Add eggs, ground cinnamon and ginger.


Add melted butter and mix until smooth.


Pour batter into the mug and place into the fridge.


Beat the coffee mixture into the cocoa, then add powdered sugar, cinnamon and ground ginger.


Heat the mixture over medium-high heat for 10 minutes.


Stir the mixture to combine.


Remove the mug from the fridge and place on a cutting board.


Sprinkle the remaining powdered chocolate chip on top of the coffee mug.


Let the coffee cool for a few minutes before using.
